F1 Istanbul 2027 tickets on sale? Not yet: F1's ticketing site for Türkiye offers a waitlist only, with no prices. Session times: not announced. Last checked: 21 October 2026. Short answer: Formula 1 returns to Istanbul Park on 1–3 October 2027: practice on Friday 1 October, qualifying on Saturday 2 October and the race on Sunday 3 October. It is round 17 of 24, F2 and F3 race on the same weekend, and it is the first year of a five-year deal that runs to 2031. Session times, ticket prices and the transport plan have not been announced (checked 21 October 2026). The circuit is in Tuzla on the Asian side, about 15–20 km from Sabiha Gökçen Airport and about 80 km from Istanbul Airport. The race cannot be seen from the water, but on request a private yacht can take your group from a Bosphorus pier to Pendik or Tuzla (around two hours each way, depending on the yacht and the pier, with the last leg to the circuit by road; quoted in writing), and the evenings of race week can be spent on the Bosphorus. Price estimates in the press are not prices, so we do not repeat them. We do not sell race tickets. Transport and access. The same page says: "Full access and transport details will be confirmed closer to the 2027 event." The circuit. The TOSFED president told beIN Sports TR (23 September 2026) that modernisation starts in November 2026. McLaren's published calendar notes that the race is subject to FIA circuit homologation; the formula1.com and FIA calendars list the date with no such note. F1 has said it has contingency plans for the 2027 calendar in case the situation in the Middle East is not resolved, with a decision expected around the end of 2026 (Sky Sports, 4 August 2026); no source we found says the Istanbul date is affected (checked 24 October 2026). Old dates. Some websites still show September 2027. That is out of date: the calendars published on 16 September 2026 give 1–3 October. For scale: the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix weekend drew 190,000 spectators, according to formula1.com (17 February 2022). A date is held once the deposit is paid, so book race week early. Getting to Istanbul Park Istanbul Park (TOSFED Istanbul Park) is in Tuzla, on the Asian side of Istanbul and inland from the Sea of Marmara coast. F1's ticketing page puts it about 15–20 km from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) and about 80 km from Istanbul Airport (IST); the formula1.com race page describes it as "around an hour's drive east of Istanbul" (both checked 21 October 2026). Istanbul Park held the Turkish Grand Prix from 2005 to 2011 and again in 2020 and 2021. If you are staying on the European side, near the Bosphorus, every day at the track starts with a crossing to the Asian side. There is no published transport or parking plan for 2027 yet. Until there is, plan the road trip with time to spare on Saturday and Sunday, and treat any shuttle or parking claim you see as unconfirmed. By yacht to the Asian shore: Pendik or Tuzla transfer If you are staying by the Bosphorus on the European side, the day can start on the water. On request, a private yacht collects your group at a Bosphorus pier on the hotel side (Karaköy, Kabataş, Beşiktaş, Kuruçeşme or Bebek), sails out of the Bosphorus and along the Sea of Marmara coast to Pendik or Tuzla on the Asian shore, near Istanbul Park, and brings you back the same way. The sailing takes around two hours each way, depending on the yacht and the pier. The last leg, from the shore to the circuit, is by road. To be clear about what it is: it is not door to door, and on paper it is not quicker than the hour's drive formula1.com describes. What changes is how the day starts and ends: the palaces, the old city and the open water instead of a bridge crossing by car. We do not promise an arrival time at the circuit on race day; the road leg and access to the circuit are outside our control, and the access plan has not been published yet. Every transfer is quoted in writing, with the pick-up pier and the landing point named in the quote. For groups we agree the timetable in writing before the deposit: pick-up pier, sailing times in both directions and the landing point. If you also need a car for the road leg, tell us; road transfers are quoted separately. Soft drinks are included on board, as on every private charter. Venues and times that are not named by the organisers are left out. The Biennial runs right through race week. Its main venue, Feshane, is on the Golden Horn shore, and a private Golden Horn cruise passes it; we do not promise a landing at the venue. If you arrive or leave on a cruise ship, our page for cruise guests at Galataport explains how a Bosphorus charter fits around a port day. The Water Congress starts the day after the race, so the city stays busy into the following week; for delegations and partners there is the corporate dinner cruise. Staying on, or back later in the month? On 29 October Istanbul celebrates Republic Day; past years ended with fireworks over the Bosphorus. The dates and viewing spots are in our Istanbul fireworks calendar, and the evening sailing is on the Republic Day page. The whole month, with a source for every date, is on our Istanbul in October 2027 page. Bosphorus evenings before and after the track Race week has four natural evenings on the water: Thursday 30 September, before practice; Friday after practice; Saturday after qualifying; and Sunday after the race. Session times are not out yet, so we set the departure once the schedule is published. The route is the same one we sail all year: Karaköy, Dolmabahçe and Çırağan, the yalı mansions, and the two fortresses by the second bridge on a two-hour cruise. Prices, piers and booking for race week A private yacht is priced per yacht, not per seat: from €150 per hour with a two-hour minimum, and from €120 per hour for six hours or more. The hourly rate covers up to 12 guests; each guest above 12 adds €25, once per charter. For example, 20 guests for three hours is €450 + €200 = €650. Soft drinks are included; catering and alcoholic drinks are quoted separately. There is no port tax and no booking fee. Standard boarding is at Karaköy, in front of Balıkçı Kemal restaurant. Kuruçeşme, Bebek, Beşiktaş, Kabataş and Kadıköy are available on request, with a distance-based surcharge shown in the written quote; Pendik and Tuzla only as the sea transfer described above. See our boarding points. A deposit of at least 30% confirms the date, paid by secure Stripe card link or bank transfer; the balance is paid on the day. Race week is a fixed-date event, so the cancellation terms are stated in the written quote. Agencies and DMCs booking for clients: see yacht charter for travel agents.
