Key takeaways

  • We do not sell a numbered yacht from a catalogue. You tell us the date, the group size and the occasion, and we match the yacht to them — then confirm which one in writing before you pay.
  • Groups of 12 to 200 guests, with the largest yachts coming from our partner fleet.
  • Every yacht: an enclosed saloon and an open deck, a professional captain and crew, a toilet on board, and life jackets including children’s sizes.
  • Private charter is priced per yacht, per hour — from €150 with a two-hour minimum — so the yacht you get does not change what you pay per head.
  • Boarding is from a pier at Karaköy, by gangway.

Quick answer: we operate our own yachts and work with a partner fleet for larger groups, which together cover parties from 12 to 200 guests. Rather than asking you to pick a vessel from a list, we match one to your date, group size and occasion — and name it in your written quote before anything is confirmed.

Why we match rather than list

Most charter sites give each yacht its own page, with a capacity number and a gallery. It reads well and it creates a problem: the yacht you fell in love with online is not always the yacht that is free on your date, and a headline capacity figure describes the maximum a vessel can legally carry rather than the number that will actually be comfortable on it for four hours with a dinner table in the middle.

We would rather do it the other way round. You tell us the date, how many of you there are and what the evening is; we come back with the yacht that fits, and you see exactly which one before you pay anything. If the first choice is taken on your date, you find that out at the quote stage rather than at the pier.

This also means the capacity we quote is the number that actually works for your kind of event. Thirty people at a standing reception and thirty people at a seated dinner need different vessels, and no single number on a page can tell you that.

Meet our own yachts

The matching promise above has not changed — which yacht sails on your date still depends on availability and your group, and it is always named in your written quote before you pay. But the fleet itself is no secret. These are our own three yachts, the ones most Constantine charters sail on; for the largest groups we add vessels from our partner fleet.

Tuana — the Essential line

Tuana is the sporty one — a modern flybridge with clean lines, a generous open aft deck and a saloon that turns genuinely atmospheric after dark. She is the yacht we most often match to couples and small groups: sunset cruises, proposals, and full-day runs to the swimming bays, where her open decks earn their keep.

Constantine — the Premium line

The yacht that carries our name. A bright, cream-toned saloon behind panoramic glass, a proper aft dining deck, and the composed feel that suits a corporate evening or a private dinner as naturally as a family day out. If your event needs the room to talk, eat and move around, this is usually where we start.

Crystal — the Premium line

Crystal is the classic — a white motor yacht with a covered upper-deck table, a saloon with its own bar and lounge, and underwater lighting that makes her the photogenic choice after dark. She suits parties, birthdays and any evening that ends later than it was planned to.

White Istanbul — the VIP line

White Istanbul yacht on the Bosphorus, side profileWhite Istanbul cruising the BosphorusLong dining table in the White Istanbul saloonBar on board the White IstanbulUpper deck lounge seating on the White Istanbul

The flagship of the fleet. White Istanbul is the yacht for the biggest occasions — a long formal dining saloon, a proper bar, and an upper deck built for a crowd rather than a couple. When a wedding, a company year-end party or a large celebration needs room to seat, serve and dance, this is the vessel the quote comes back with.

Which one you board is settled at the quote stage — tell us the date, the group and the occasion on WhatsApp, and the yacht is named in writing before you pay anything.

What is on every yacht

Whichever vessel your charter ends up on, these are constant:

  • An enclosed saloon and an open deck. Weather never cancels a charter — you sit inside and go out on deck as much or as little as you want. This is what makes winter and shoulder-season cruising work.
  • A professional captain and crew, included in the hourly rate rather than added to it.
  • A toilet on board, on every cruise.
  • Life jackets, including children’s sizes.
  • Smoking in designated areas on deck — not in the indoor saloon.
  • Space for your own music, decorations and cake on a private charter. Decorations are set up before you board, so you walk onto a deck that is already ready.

Pets are welcome; tell us when you book so the crew can plan for it. Halal, vegetarian and vegan catering are all arranged on request rather than treated as exceptions.

How yacht size changes the evening

The practical difference between a smaller and a larger vessel is not luxury — it is what the space lets you do.

Smaller yachts suit couples and small groups: a proposal, an anniversary, a birthday for a handful of people, a photographer and nobody else. The deck feels private in a way a large vessel cannot, and the whole thing is easy to arrange at short notice.

Mid-size yachts are the usual answer for a family celebration, a graduation group or a working dinner — enough deck for people to move around and enough saloon for everyone to sit down at once when the food arrives.

Event yachts, which for the largest groups come from our partner fleet, are built for celebrations that need a dance floor, a proper sound setup and catering at scale: weddings, corporate evenings, large parties. These are the vessels that take a group towards the upper end of the 12–200 range.

What does not change with size is the pricing logic. Charter is quoted per yacht per hour, from €150 with a two-hour minimum, so a larger group on a larger yacht is not paying more per person for the vessel — usually the opposite. The price guide works through examples: a two-hour sunset charter at €300 total, three hours with a swimming stop at €450, a four-hour celebration at €600.

Boarding, access and practical notes

Boarding is from a pier at Karaköy, by gangway. The exact meeting point — with photographs — is sent with your booking confirmation, and our guide to getting to Karaköy covers the routes in.

On accessibility, we would rather be straightforward than vague: boarding by gangway means the shared group tour is not suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments. A private charter allows much more planning around it, so ask us before booking rather than after — there is usually something we can arrange when we know in advance.

On weather: the Bosphorus is sheltered water and most cruises run as planned. If the captain cancels a departure for safety, you choose between rescheduling to another day and a full refund.

Seeing the yacht

Photographs of the vessel are sent with your quote, and for larger events a viewing before the date can usually be arranged when the yacht is in port — ask and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible for your date rather than promising it first.

Ready to be matched to one? Start with the private charter page, or if the whole yacht is more than you need, the shared Sunset Group Tour runs daily from Karaköy at €34 per person.

Tell us your group and we will tell you the yacht

Send the date, the number of guests and what the occasion is. You get a written quote the same day naming the yacht, with the rate itemised — no port tax, no booking fee, no service charge at the end. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, with any prepayment refunded in full.

Constantine Yachts is operated by AST Turizm, a TÜRSAB member agency (No. A-805) in tourism since 1967, rated 4.9–5.0 across 700+ verified reviews on Google, Viator and GetYourGuide as of August 2026.

Staying several nights rather than chartering for an evening? We also run multi-night yacht stays where the yacht is your hotel as well as your transport — from €1,400 per night for the whole yacht.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Yachts

How many people fit on a private yacht charter?

Our own and partner yachts take groups of 12 to 200 guests, with the largest vessels coming from our partner fleet. The right number for your booking depends on the format as much as the vessel — a seated dinner needs more room per guest than a standing reception — so tell us both the headcount and the kind of event.

Can we choose a specific yacht?

You can tell us what matters — deck space, a dance floor, an intimate feel — and we will match a yacht to it and name it in your written quote before you pay. What we will not do is promise a specific vessel months ahead and then substitute it quietly if it is unavailable.

Is there a toilet on board?

Yes, on every cruise, on every yacht.

Is there an indoor cabin if the weather turns?

Yes. Every yacht has an enclosed saloon as well as an open deck, which is why charters run through the winter. If conditions are genuinely unsafe, the captain cancels and you choose between another date and a full refund.

Can we visit the yacht before booking?

Photographs come with your quote, and for larger events a viewing can often be arranged when the vessel is in port. Ask us for your specific date and we will tell you whether it is possible rather than promising it in advance.

Are life jackets available for children?

Yes. Life jackets are on board and we carry children’s sizes. Tell us the ages when you book so the crew can prepare.

Can guests with limited mobility board?

Boarding is by gangway from a pier, which means the shared group tour is not suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments. A private charter allows far more planning, so tell us what is needed before booking and we will give you a straight answer about what is possible.
